It’s been a crazy couple of days in our journey. With six days to go before we head west, a deluge of rain hit over the weekend in central Texas and is forecast to continue through the next couple of days. While I’ve always loved a rain shower, days of rain are never enjoyable to me.
We moved the RV to a friend’s house on higher ground yesterday and the rains stopped so we moved it back. The torrent started up within a few hours of us setting up. SURPRISE!!! Who knew? RV set up is like washing your car.
Here’s hoping for a little dryer forecast when we hit the road this weekend. But for now, our thoughts and prayers are with those really being affected by this wet weather.
Looking forward to a rainbow at the end of this storm.
I’m enjoying reading about your rv adventures. As we grow older less is more!
