Dan and Diann Bayes packed their stuff and started traveling the roads in their fifth wheel with their two dogs, Diann’s Nikon cameras, and enough rice and beans to get them through as they share their adventures, or misadventures, with you.
Dan came from Ohio but got to Texas as soon as he could. He retired a few years ago but his background has been in service – service for his country as a Vietnam Veteran, service for citizens as a law enforcement officer, and most recently, service for his wife, Diann, as they travel the roads of these United States of America.
A 5th generation Texan with a great love for the Lone Star State, Diann worked in the travel and tourism industry for more than 20 years and now looks forward to experiencing it for herself. A few years ago, she took up photography as a hobby and has captured thousands of photos of what she views as “real Texas.” Diann has a love for rural communities, stemming back to her youth where she lived in cities of less than 10,000 residents. Diann prefers to be behind the camera, capturing the beauty of this incredible planet we call Earth.
